The Department of Production Engineering of the School of Engineering at São Carlos, University of São Paulo-USP, has two open places for Assistant Professors. Two qualified candidates are sought for the areas: Manufacturing and Ergodesign. Candidates are required to hold a PhD degree and are expected to be able to carry out researching and teaching activities at graduate and undergraduate levels. Examinations may be conducted in English as well as first activities for the first 2 years.
USP is a public university and it is consistently number one among Brazilian institutions in international rankings. The city of Sao Carlos, located at 235 km from Sao Paulo, hosts the School of Engineering. Starting salary, including benefits, is around US$ 65,000.00/year.
